Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a qualified engineer with a master’s degree in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or Hydrology Engineering. Candidates should have 4–5 years of experience in infrastructure projects including stormwater drainage and bridge hydrology. Proficiency in design software like Civil Storm and HEC-RAS is essential. The role involves guiding junior engineers, coordinating with construction teams, and applying industry standards to design hydraulics for various infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in infrastructure projects, stormwater drainage, and bridge hydrology.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Civil Storm, Sewer GEMS, HEC-RAS, and HMS.

Responsibilities

  • Guide a team of PGETs/GETs on hydrology and hydraulic designs.
  • Coordinate with site and construction teams.
  • Understand, explain, present, and solve complex technical problems.
  • Apply industry standards, workflows, and interoperability techniques.
  • Design hydraulics for roads and city infrastructure projects.

Skills

Proficiency in design software such as Civil Storm, Sewer GEMS, HEC-RAS, and HMS
Experience in infrastructure projects
Experience in stormwater drainage and bridge hydrology

Education

Master’s degree in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or Hydrology Engineering
PhD in a similar field
