Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across regions. The role includes verifying financial data, preparing statements, and assisting audits, with collaboration across finance, business and corporate functions.

Ideal candidates hold CA/ACCA qualifications and have experience in reporting and financial control.

Qualifications

• Assists in verifying financial data in compliance with Group procedures on a periodic basis.
• Contributes to maintaining appropriate internal controls over financial reporting (Internal/external) processes.
• Supports in understanding and adhering to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation.
• Conducts preparing and review of periodic financial statements (internal/external) of business/geography/function/division in a timely and accurate manner and support analyses of material variances.
• Supports Finance, Business and Corporate function stakeholders to deliver outcomes they own by supporting corresponding accounting, reporting and financial control support and enablement activities.
• Assists, supports and coordinates responses to audits.
