Qualifications

• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & entry: assist in day-to-day accounting operations and ledger maintenance.
• Invoicing & reconciliations: support invoice generation, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Tax compliance: assist GST filings and Income Tax Returns documentation.
• Financial reporting: help prepare basic monthly statements using accounting software.
• Documentation & audit support: maintain organized records and assist internal audits.

About the Role

Fisa Financial Services is looking for a detail-oriented, eager-to-learn Assistant Accountant (Intern) to join our growing finance team. This internship is ideal for fresh graduates seeking to build a strong foundation in core accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Entry: Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Invoicing & Reconciliations: Support invoice generation, vendor payments, and routine bank reconciliations.
• Tax Compliance: Assist the team in gathering documentation for GST filings and Income Tax Returns (ITR).
• Financial Reporting: Help prepare basic monthly financial statements and summaries using accounting software.
• Documentation & Audit Support: Maintain organised digital and physical financial records and assist with internal audit checks.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, BBA-Finance, or equivalent).
• Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply (0 to 1 year of experience).
• Skills:
  • Fundamental understanding of basic accounting principles (Golden Rules of Accounting, Debit/Credit rules).
