Job summary

Equinix, Inc. in Mumbai, India, seeks an experienced site manager to oversee data center operations, projects, and vendor coordination. You will supervise professional staff, coordinate budgets, and ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

The role requires at least 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. This is a full-time on-site position within our global digital infrastructure team, offering growth and exposure

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors.
• Ensures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as expected.
• Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development.
• Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance.
• Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers. Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan.
• Provides input and guidance towards budget.
• Overall site capacity supervision.
• Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.
• Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems.
• Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident.
