Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an experienced senior professional to lead the strategic transformation of Asset Under Management (AUM) and ERP processes. You will drive data modernization and governance within a financial services context in Mumbai.

Lead migration to a Data Lakehouse platform, optimize month-end close, and establish automated reporting across Fund and Security Master data, coordinating with Finance and Technology teams.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic professional with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in ERP platforms and Asset Management. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge in Assets Under Management (AUM), Capital Raise, and Revenue Reporting processes, along with a strong understanding of data transformation initiatives within the financial services industry.

This role will be responsible for leading the modernization and migration of AUM operations to a contemporary Data Lakehouse platform. The individual will drive initiatives across data governance, roll-forward and flow logic, reference and master data management, including Fund/Security Master and Investment Vehicle code consistency, while establishing automated and certified reporting frameworks to replace legacy spreadsheet-based and multi-tool processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of AUM operations onto a modern Data Lakehouse platform.
• Define and implement robust data governance standards, controls, and operating procedures.
• Manage and optimize AUM flow and roll-forward processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Oversee reference and master data management, including Fund Master, Security Master, and Investment Vehicle code standardization.
• Design and implement certified, automated reporting solutions to streamline operational and regulatory reporting.
• Drive the replacement of legacy spreadsheets and fragmented reporting tools with scalable enterprise data solutions.
• Develop and establish target-state operating models and governance frameworks.
• Support initiatives focused on accelerating month-end close processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Partner with Finance, Distribution, Operations, and Technology teams to align business and data transformation objectives.
• Lead large-scale data, ERP, and business transformation programs from strategy through execution.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in ERP platforms and Asset Management.
• Strong expertise in Assets Under Management (AUM), Capital Raise, and Revenue Reporting processes.
• Deep understanding of AUM roll-forward methodologies and fund structures across both public and private investment vehicles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the capital lifecycle and revenue-to-AUM relationship management.
• Hands-on experience in defining target operating models, governance frameworks, and business process transformation.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting optimization.
• Expertise in ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) and IBOR (Investment Book of Record) platforms and processes.
• Proven experience integrating investment and accounting data into a unified and trusted source of information.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, master data management, and enterprise data architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across Finance, Distribution, and Technology functions.
• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale ERP, data modernization, and transformation programs.
