Job summary

VettedBench is seeking an experienced ASP.NET consultant to work on-site at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, for a short-term project. You will guide technical decisions, contribute hands-on development, and help the team deliver on time and quality.

Responsibilities include designing and integrating ASP.NET modules (MVC/Web API/.NET Core), reviewing architecture, and mentoring in-house developers to ensure code quality.

Duration is 3–6 months with potential extension based on project needs and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Strong SQL Server, EF/LINQ experience is required.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, Identity, OAuth).
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JS; version control with Git.

Responsibilities

• Review code for performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ASP.NET consultant to work on-site with our team on [new application development / migration of an existing application / enhancement and maintenance of an existing system]. You will guide technical decisions, contribute hands-on to development, and help the team deliver to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review ASP.NET (MVC / Web API / .NET Core) application modules
• Advise on architecture, database design, and technology choices
• Review existing code, identify performance, security, and scalability issues, and recommend fixes
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and Entity Framework data access
• Support deployment, testing, and bug resolution
• Mentor in-house developers and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions
• Prepare technical documentation and regular progress updates

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web API
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Entity Framework / LINQ
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, Identity, OAuth)
