AgileEngine in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build AI agents that analyze infrastructure discovery logs and automate troubleshooting. Using Python and REST APIs, you will integrate Gen AI capabilities such as RAG and vector databases into production systems.

This is a software engineering role, not a research position. This role involves designing scalable AI solutions, classifying failures, and driving testing and guardrails before production, collaborating

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Advanced Python development and REST API design.
• Experience building APIs, data-processing pipelines, and production-grade systems.
• Experience integrating Gen AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and RAG concepts.
• Understanding SDLC practices and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents that continuously analyze Discovery logs, execution results, errors, and failed discoveries at scale.
• Develop agents capable of classifying and correlating failures, troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
• Build capabilities for agents to analyze and recommend or generate corrections to probes and patterns, ensuring testing and guardrails before production changes.
• Create and manage data-processing pipelines and API integrations feeding telemetry from monitoring platforms into the AI ecosystem.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Agentic AI Engineer to build AI agents that analyze infrastructure discovery logs and automate complex troubleshooting. Using Python and REST APIs, this person integrates Gen AI capabilities such as RAG and vector databases into production systems, correlating failures and recommending fixes. This is a software engineering role, not a research position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and build AI agents that continuously analyze Discovery logs, execution results, errors, and failed discoveries at scale.


• Develop agents capable of classifying and correlating failures, performing troubleshooting, identifying probable root causes, and recommending corrective actions.


• Build capabilities for agents to analyze and recommend or generate corrections to probes and patterns, ensuring appropriate testing and guardrails are in place before production changes.


• Create and manage the data-processing pipelines and API integrations required to feed telemetry from monitoring platforms into the AI ecosystem.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with advanced Python development and REST API design capabilities with experience building APIs, data-processing pipelines, integrations, automation, and production-grade engineering solutions.


• Practical experience integrating Gen AI APIs into software applications (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and a working understanding of developer-level concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Vector databases. (Note: We need software builders, not Machine Learning researchers).


• Strong experience with modern software development and SDLC practices and toolchains, including Git/GitHub, Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD platforms, artifact repositories, automated testing, code quality/security scanning, release management, and deployment automation.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with high-volume logs, metrics, errors, and operational datasets to identify patterns and anomalies.


• General knowledge of Infrastructure Engineering or ServiceNow platform operations.
