Job summary

Futurism Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise Generative AI solutions. The role requires hands-on work with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, Python, APIs and cloud AI platforms.

You will join a team with 5–8 years of experience, work the shift 12 PM to 9 PM, and support an immediate joiner; familiarity with OpenAI models, LangChain, Pinecone, and cloud deployments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience with OpenAI/GPT models or similar LLMs.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.
• Understanding of token management, context windows, embeddings, and model optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using enterprise data sources.
• Develop and integrate AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows.
• Work with OpenAI/GPT models and other LLMs.
• Implement prompt engineering, embeddings, context management, and model evaluation.
• Design and integrate vector databases and semantic/hybrid search solutions.
• Develop APIs and microservices for AI applications.
• Build AI solutions using Python and other programming languages.
• Work with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, or Google Cloud AI services.
• Use frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar tools.
• Develop POCs and convert successful solutions into production-ready applications.
• Implement AI application monitoring, evaluation, optimization, and cost management.
• Follow security, data privacy, responsible AI, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps/MLOps teams for CI/CD and AI application deployment.

• Understanding of chunking, indexing, metadata filtering, semantic search, and hybrid search.

Development

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, JSON, and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of Java/JavaScript/TypeScript is an advantage.

AI Agents

• Experience developing AI Agents/Agentic AI.
• Understanding of tool/function calling, workflow orchestration, memory, and guardrails.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.

Cloud & AI Platforms

• Experience with one or more:
• Azure OpenAI / Azure AI
• AWS Bedrock / AWS AI/ML
• Google Vertex AI
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud deployment is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience with TrueFoundry or similar AI/ML platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding tools such as Codex.
• Knowledge of LLMOps/MLOps.
• Experience with AI security, responsible AI, data privacy, and observability.
• Experience deploying enterprise GenAI applications at scale.
