Job summary

CenturyPly is seeking an AI Engineer in Kolkata, India to drive AI adoption across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and customer engagement. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions improving operational efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making.

The role requires software engineering, ML, cloud tech, and strong business problem-solving skills, with 6+ years of experience in AI deployments and knowledge of MLOps and production-scale systems.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech in CS, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience deploying AI solutions in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or supply-chain environments.
• Knowledge of computer vision for industrial quality inspection.
• Experience with MLOps and production-scale AI systems.
• Total experience: 6 years +.
• AI Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML models for demand forecasting, sales prediction, inventory optimization, dealer performance analysis, and customer segmentation.
• Build and deploy generative AI applications and internal AI assistants using LLMs.
• Create AI-powered manufacturing intelligence for predictive maintenance, sensor data analytics, and quality inspection systems.
• Forecast raw material demand, optimize warehouse inventory levels, and predict logistics delays.
• Develop lead scoring models and customer behavior analytics; automate marketing content generation.
• Build scalable AI services and APIs; deploy models on cloud platforms; establish MLOps pipelines.

This role requires a combination of software engineering, machine learning, cloud technologies, and business problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Machine Learning Solutions

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for: Demand forecasting, Sales prediction, Inventory optimization, Dealer performance analysis, and Customer segmentation.
• Build recommendation systems for product cross-selling and upselling.

Generative AI Applications

• Develop internal AI assistants using LLMs for: Sales teams, Customer support, Dealer queries, and Employee knowledge management.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using company documents, catalogs, and policies.

Manufacturing Intelligence

• Build predictive maintenance systems for factory equipment.
• Analyze sensor and production data to reduce downtime.
• Create AI-based quality inspection systems using computer vision.
• Develop anomaly detection systems for production lines.

Supply Chain Optimization

• Forecast raw material demand.
• Optimize warehouse inventory levels.
• Predict logistics delays and delivery risks.
