BitTwoByte Technology Pvt Ltd is seeking an AI + Backend Engineer to build production-grade Agentic AI systems, GenAI applications, MCP Servers, and process automation. You will design autonomous AI agents, craft scalable APIs, and automate real business workflows using Node.js.

You should bring hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases, and modern backend stacks (Node.js, Express.js, Fastify). This role requires strong API security, containerized deployments, and cloud platforms.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and deploy Agentic AI workflows with tool calling, reasoning, memory, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Implement RAG pipelines, vector search, and context management.
• Work with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama) for chatbots, copilots, summarization, and extraction.
• Implement guardrails, evaluation, prompt optimization, and cost/latency optimization.
• Build and maintain custom MCP Servers to expose tools, data sources, and APIs to LLMs.
• Design MCP tools, resources, and prompts following Anthropic MCP standards.
• Integrate MCP servers with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and internal AI clients.
• Manage authentication, tool discovery, and secure execution of MCP tools.
• Automate business processes using AI, RPA, and API automation.
• Build workflows using n8n, Make, Zapier, or custom Node.js automation.
• Handle web scraping, document parsing, and email / CRM / ERP automation.
• Create self-healing automation with logging, retry, and monitoring.
• Design and develop scalable REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Express.js, Fastify, or NestJS.
• Build backend architecture for AI services: queuing, streaming (SSE/WebSockets), and async jobs.
• Design databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Vector DBs (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, pgvector).
• Implement authentication (JWT/OAuth), rate limiting, security, and API documentation (Swagger).
• Deploy on AWS / GCP / Azure with Docker and CI/CD.

Job Summary-

We are looking for an AI + Backend Engineer with a primary focus on building production-grade Agentic AI systems, GenAI applications, MCP Servers, and Process Automation, backed by strong Node.js backend development. You will be responsible for designing autonomous AI agents, building scalable APIs, and automating real business workflows.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Agentic AI & GenAI

• Design, build, and deploy Agentic AI workflows with tool calling, reasoning, memory, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Implement RAG pipelines, vector search, and context management.
• Work with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama) for chatbots, copilots, summarization, and extraction.

Required Skills-

1. AI / GenAI Core

• Strong understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Function Calling, and RAG.
• Hands-on with LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex / Vercel AI SDK / OpenAI SDK.
• Vector Databases, Embeddings, and Semantic Search.

2. Agentic AI

• Agent frameworks, planning and reasoning, memory, and tool use.

3. MCP

• Understanding of Model Context Protocol and MCP Server/Client architecture.
• REST APIs, WebSockets, and Microservices.
• Git, Docker, and API security best practices.

5. Automation

• Process mapping, workflow automation, and integration of third-party APIs.

Good to Have-

• Experience with queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation and observability (LangSmith, Langfuse).
• Frontend basics: React / Next.js to integrate AI features.
• Experience with Voice AI and Vision Models.

Qualification-

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in CS / IT / AI, or equivalent practical experience.
• An AI product or portfolio is mandatory.
