Job summary

Nangia & Co LLP invites applications for an Articleship in Statutory Audit. As an Article Trainee, you will assist in statutory audits, support in preparing working papers, and learn auditing standards across multiple clients.

Qualified CA Intermediate candidates with a willingness to learn, strong communication, and teamwork will fit well in this role. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• CA Intermediate with both groups qualified or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of accounting and auditing concepts.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory audits of clients across industries.
• Perform audit procedures and testing as per applicable standards.
• Assist in checking financial statements, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation.
• Assist in verification of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate audit observations to the team.
• Support seniors in completion of audit assignments within timelines.
• Gain exposure to accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
