Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Articles role based in Delhi, India. The Articles professional will support audit, accounting, and taxation assignments, including preparation and review of financial statements, working papers, and compliance reports. Daily responsibilities include assisting in GST and Income Tax filings, documentation for refunds and demands, and coordinating with authorities and clients under supervision. The role also involves working on international taxation and Ind AS/IFRS-related tasks, as well as compliance and advisory work for NGOs and non-profit organizations. The Articles professional will maintain accurate records, follow firm processes, and actively participate in learning, training, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting, preferably with exposure to Ind AS/IFRS.
• Understanding of direct and indirect taxation concepts, including Income Tax and GST compliance, returns, and basic litigation support.
• Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in working papers and reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to work with accounting and tax software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Enrollment as an article trainee as per ICAI requirements (CA Intermediate cleared or as applicable), with commitment to completing the articleship period.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Interest in learning about international taxation, NGO compliance, and Virtual CFO services; prior internship experience in a CA firm is an advantage.
