Role Description

The Article Trainee will support audit, tax, and accounting assignments under the supervision of qualified professionals in a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Delhi NCR Area. Day‑to‑day responsibilities may include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers, vouching and verification of records, and helping in the preparation of financial statements. The trainee will also support direct and indirect tax compliance activities such as return preparation, documentation, and basic assessments. Additional tasks can include maintaining books of accounts, performing reconciliations, conducting basic research on accounting and tax matters, and drafting simple reports or client communication. The role involves regular interaction with team members and may include client visits, requiring a disciplined approach to timelines, documentation, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be registered or eligible to register as Article Trainees under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and be pursuing the Chartered Accountancy course.
• Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and preparation of basic financial statements.
• Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of auditing principles and procedures, including documentation, internal controls, and compliance checks.
