Role Description

The Article Assistant will support the firm’s assurance, taxation, and advisory engagements by assisting in audits, preparing working papers, and maintaining documentation in line with professional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and analyzing financial data, performing vouching and verification of transactions, supporting tax computations and filings, and helping prepare reports and schedules for senior team members. The role involves coordinating with clients for required information, adhering to internal processes and regulatory requirements, and contributing to timely completion of assignments. The Article Assistant will also participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning to build technical and professional skills. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation, supported by ongoing or completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) coursework or equivalent professional studies.
• Ability to work with financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documents, with attention to detail and accuracy in vouching, verification, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or audit software will be an advantage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients, and to prepare clear working papers and reports.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and capacity to follow professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and firm policies.
• Ability to work on-site in Patna, manage time effectively, and contribute positively within a team-oriented, training-focused environment.
• Prior internship or practical experience in a CA firm or finance-related role is preferred but not mandatory.
