Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory, internal, tax, and concurrent audits
• Advisory on Tax
• Verify books of accounts, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
• Perform vouching, verification, and reconciliation of financial records
• Assist in preparation of audit working papers and documentation
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws
• Support in preparation of audit reports and observations
• Coordinate with clients to collect required information and clarifications
• Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and report to seniors
• Assist in filing of audit-related forms and returns, if required
• Basic knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS)
• Understanding of auditing principles and procedures
• Working knowledge of Tally, Excel, and MS Office
• Familiarity with Income Tax and GST laws (preferred)
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
