Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Civil Engineering or Architecture (B. Arch).
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and local language.
• Understanding of estimating procedures and building estimates.
• Knowledge of local building practices and structural stability.
• Experience with technical evaluation in secured retail assets is preferred.

Thisrole is accountable to monitor the Technical evaluation of homeloans, LAP carried out by Technical vendors and responsible forthe valuations carried by in house technical team.

Therole incumbent is responsible for evaluating, verifying andapproving the tranche of the loan amount.

Overseesempanelment and assessment of the technical vendors across theregion.

KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business:

Worksclosely with the underwriting head at the location/ regions, Headoffice and develops robust technical evaluation norms.

Monitorsthe technical evaluation process across region.

Directlycarries out the technical evaluation process on a need basis.

Responsiblefor empanelment of Technical vendor

Managesthe vendors and in-house technical team involved in the technicalevaluation process.

Carriesout spot checks on a frequent basis.

Maintainsand publishes MISs related to the technical evaluation.

Monitorshandling of fraud cases on the technical front i.e.identification, handling, reporting and facilitates closure asper the action decided.

Maintainsquality of Report on cost estimation, property identification &cost calculation, recommendation as per policy etc.

Monitoringcustomer's work & guiding customers to complete work withinestimated cost.

Establishestechnical policy and practice of the valuation in purview ofgeography, town planning regulations, local practices etc.

Responsiblefor the technical survey of the new area, cluster in valuationterms and reports accordingly to the higher management.

Customer:

Closelyco-ordinates with sales and credit team on technical appraisal ofcustomers

Worksclosely with the legal counterpart on the technical evaluationfront.

SPOCfor all technical vendors and responsible for the timelyrepayment of the valuation service taken by the organization.

Responsiblefor the renewal and reinstate the charges for the valuation.

Internalprocess:

Responsiblefor evaluation of tranche payment, Approval and recommendation ofthe same as per DOA/process

Identifiesrisks related to technical / property and reports to Risk/creditfor process/policy improvement. Need to work closing with Riskand Credit department.

Takestechnical related initiatives to strengthen Products andProcesses

MaintainsTAT targets for the technical evaluation process.

Learning& Performance:

Trainsand evaluates the proficiency levels of the team on a regularbasis.

Ensureadherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs forself and reportees

Ensuregoal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal processhappens within specified timelines for self and reportees.
