Job summary

Varaha is seeking a motivated Area Supervisor – ARR to oversee the implementation of ARR projects across Haveri, Karnataka, ensuring high-quality plantation and timely milestone achievement.

You will supervise field officers, coordinate farmer onboarding, training, and stakeholder engagement, verify data, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with SOPs and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in horticulture/agroforestry/agriculture.
• 0–1 year of work experience.
• Experience in agroforestry, forestry, afforestation or related development projects.
• Strong knowledge of plantation management and farmer engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools.
• Willingness to travel across Karnataka.

Required Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of work experience.
• Prior experience in agroforestry, forestry, afforestation, reforestation, or related development projects.
• Strong knowledge of plantation management, agroforestry systems, and farmer engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.
