Job summary

Acsen Agriscience seeks an experienced regional production lead in Kushtagi, Karnataka to plan and execute seed production targets. You will ensure ACSEN quality standards and timely delivery of seed quantities for sales plans while managing budgets and coordinating with Quality, Processing, Finance and HR teams.

The role requires a postgrad/grad in Agriculture or Horticulture and at least 8 years of vegetable seed production experience, with strong planning, budgeting, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Post/graduate in Agriculture or horticulture, relevant degree.
• Minimum 8 years of vegetable seed production experience.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of the assigned targets of production for the region.
• Delivery of ACSEN quality standards and planned quantity of seeds at right time as required for sale plans.
• Analyzing risks inherent to commercial seed production and implement necessary means to reach objectives.
• Allocating targets to different seed production locations and seasons based on quality, quantity and competitive procurement prices.
• Developing alternate production plans in exigencies to meet required targets without business impact.
• Motivate and train the team for knowledge imparting and innovations regularly.
• Budgeting for the region and control over the prepared budgets.
• Coordinating with Quality, Processing, Finance and HR for better realization of goals.
• Reviewing budgets for effective resource utilization.
• Providing timely updates to head of department on crop progress and other projects.
• Conducting grower meetings to create awareness on Quality and QHSE Zero tolerance to child labour.

Qualifications Experience
