We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Business Development Manager (ABDM) to lead our sales operations in the assigned territory. The ABDM will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Business Growth
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Forecast sales and monitor performance to achieve business objectives.
    • Identify market opportunities, new customers, and expansion potential.
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Medical Representatives.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development for team members.
    • Motivate and drive the team to achieve targets while ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals (doctors, hospitals, KOLs).
    • Manage distributor and channel partner relations to ensure consistent product availability and growth.
    • Organize and drive customer engagement programs (CME, seminars, product trainings).
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to guide strategy.
    • Regularly submit sales, forecast, and activity reports to senior management.
    • Monitor budget, plan territory-wise expenditures, and ensure ROI.
  • Compliance & Operational Execution
    • Ensure all sales and promotional activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
    • Coordinate with supply chain/distribution teams for inventory management, timely deliveries, and order fulfillment.
Required Candidate Profile
  • Education: Graduation in Science / Life Sciences / Pharmacy.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare sales, with at least 1 to 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
