Job summary

JioHotstar is seeking a seasoned Architect in the Foundations Org to define the long-term technical vision and lead evolution of core platforms, including a server-guided UI orchestration system. You will tackle scale/speed challenges impacting viewer funnel conversions and drive architectural excellence across teams.

The role requires mentoring engineers, developing roadmaps, and ensuring fast, secure, and cost-efficient platforms for massive live traffic.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in CS or related field with 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

As an Architect in the Foundations Org at JioHotstar, you will define the long-term technical vision and lead the evolution of core platforms, including the server-guided UI orchestration system. You ll dive deep into challenges of scale and speed that directly impact video viewer funnel conversions and reach, helping make JioHotstar ubiquitous. This role involves designing scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient systems for massive and unpredictable LIVE traffic, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and data teams, and mentoring engineers while driving architectural excellence across the organization.

We own Identity, Performance, CRM infra, design systems, and cross-platform consistency enabling every other team to build boldly and ship reliably.
