Job summary

Mavenir in Gurugram, India is seeking a Senior QA/Test Engineer to design and execute test strategies for 4G/5G products, including automation and manual validation.

You will work with virtualization, NFV, and high-speed networking components, using Python/Shell scripting, VS Code with Copilot, and tools like Landslide and EAST to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Telecom Domain.
• Expertise in 4G/5G architecture and call flows.
• Knowledge of virtualization, NFV, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with manual and automated QA tools such as Landslide and EAST.
• Familiar with IKEv2, IPsec, and EAP-AKA protocols.
• Experience with SR-IOV networking and high-performance NICs.
• Experience in wireless telecommunications is highly required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test programs, designs test fixtures, and completes specifications for new products.
• Execute test procedures and ensure quality across platforms.
• Assist in automation integration and test framework improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in 4G/5G solutions.

Role Summary

Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Telecom Domain.
• Experience in 4G/5G Architecture and Call flows.
• Knowledge on Virtualization and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Kubernetes(K8s) container orchestration system.
• Good working knowledge of Scripting (i.e. Python and Shell Scripting etc.).
• Software QA Manual and Automation Testing with at least one or more commercial test tools (such as Landslide, EAST etc.) experience.
• Proficiency in IKEv2 (Internet Key Exchange version 2), IPsec(ESP : Encapsulating Security Payload) encryption protocol and EAP-AKA authentication.
• Knowledge of SR-IOV networking and high-performance interfaces, such as PCI-Express, Intel E810 NIC, Intel x710 NIC, MLX NIC, vmxnet3 NIC etc.
• Experience in Telecom domain especially wireless telecommunications is highly required.
