Qualifications

• 9+ years of MicroStrategy architecture and analytics delivery experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• Experience with data warehouse, BI, and reporting ecosystems.
• MicroStrategy certifications and cloud platform certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design MicroStrategy architecture, metadata, and reporting frameworks while actively developing complex reports, dashboards, and schema objects.
• Migrate legacy SQL-based reports to MicroStrategy, ensuring reporting accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• Perform hands-on SQL analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to resolve reporting and data-related issues.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams while collaborating with business and engineering stakeholders throughout design, development, testing, and deployment.

Position: Architect (MicroStrategy)

Purpose of the Position : MicroStrategy Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing the reporting architecture for the migration of legacy reporting solutions to the target data warehouse platform. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can architect solutions, perform SQL analysis, recreate complex reports in MicroStrategy, drive performance optimization, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting solutions.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

• MicroStrategy Architecture & Development - Design MicroStrategy architecture, metadata, and reporting frameworks while actively developing complex reports, dashboards, and schema objects.
• Reporting Migration & Modernization - Lead and execute the migration of legacy SQL-based reports to MicroStrategy, ensuring reporting accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• SQL Analysis & Root Cause Investigation - Perform hands-on SQL analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to resolve reporting and data-related issues.
• Performance Optimization & Governance - Implement performance tuning, security, and governance best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable reporting solutions.
• Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration - Provide technical guidance to project teams while working directly with business and engineering stakeholders throughout design, development, testing, and deployment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Skills:

• Expert in MicroStrategy architecture, solution design, development, and enterprise reporting implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in MicroStrategy schema design, metadata management, reports, dashboards, documents, metrics, filters, prompts, attributes, and facts.
• Proven experience in migrating and modernizing legacy reporting solutions into MicroStrategy environments.
• Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience in query optimization, data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation.
• Experience translating legacy SQL reporting logic into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modelling, and reporting architectures.
• Experience implementing MicroStrategy security, governance, and performance optimization frameworks.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor while leading technical solution design and delivery discussions.
• Experience supporting end-to-end SDLC activities including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Exposure to reporting migration and data modernization programs.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise reporting governance.

Qualification:

• 9+ years of experience in MicroStrategy architecture, development, enterprise reporting, and analytics solution delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong experience working with data warehouse, BI, and reporting ecosystems.
• MicroStrategy certifications and cloud platform certifications will be an added advantage.
