Job summary

AECOM in India is seeking a highly skilled Architect - Interior to lead interior design and execution of large-scale terminal projects across Pan India. The candidate will drive innovative interior concepts, manage design development, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet quality, budget, and schedule targets.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record in terminal or major infrastructure interiors, and a commitment to sustainable design and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in interior design and execution.
• Experience in terminal building projects or large-scale infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills to deliver innovative interiors.
• Strong focus on precision and quality in interior design and execution.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop innovative interior design solutions for terminal buildings, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and passenger comfort.
• Create detailed interior layouts, material specifications, and design presentations aligned with project requirements and standards.
• Plan and optimize interior spaces to enhance operational efficiency and passenger experience.
• Ensure seamless integration of interior designs with architectural and structural elements.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet durability, sustainability, and aesthetic standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials within budget constraints.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure alignment of interior designs with overall project goals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address design challenges and incorporate feedback into interior plans.
• Ensure interior designs comply with aviation regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Present design concepts and updates to clients and senior management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior architecture, design, and project management, with a proven ability to deliver innovative and functional interiors while meeting quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
