Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced architecture professional to drive design, implement AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure secure, scalable production systems. You will craft architecture artifacts, evaluate technology choices, and influence governance across the SDLC.

Expect to lead in a large corporate environment, apply cloud and microservices patterns, and ensure data sensitivity and security throughout development and operations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 2+ years applied experience (NAMR/APAC - India/ LATAM/ Hong Kong)
• Strong knowledge of one or more software applications and architecture development within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Working knowledge of applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to software engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled features and architectural patterns while maintaining security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
• Ability to evaluate current technologies to recommend ways to optimize architecture
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security

• Leads the product team in evaluating new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Drives reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-enabled patterns and guardrails within the SDLC and engineering governance, ensuring traceability and human-in-the-loop validation
• Contributes to architecture communities of practice and events exploring new technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled features and architectural patterns (e.g., model/service integration, retrieval patterns, monitoring considerations) while maintaining security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
• Ability to evaluate current technologies to recommend ways to optimize architecture
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Strong experience in SDLC delivery in Agile methodologies
• Experience developing microservices, packaged into AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service and/or Elastic Container Service, and deployed to EC2 instances
• Experience writing Terraform scripts and deploying in AWS production environment
• Experience in at least one relational database management system (preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL)
