Job summary

Kadel Labs is seeking an experienced Data Modeler / Data Architect to design scalable, business-driven data solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Dimensional Modeling, Data Normalization, Medallion Architecture, PySpark, SQL, ASQL, and Databricks, along with data quality and end-to-end ingestion.

You will work with business and technical teams, lead modeling initiatives, create architectural solutions, and mentor data modeling and data engineering teams to deliver aligned data

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Normalization, and Medallion Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, Databricks, ASQL, and SQL.
• Experience in end-to-end data ingestion and reporting-layer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models using Dimensional Modeling, Normalization, and Medallion Architecture.
• Map business processes and create business process flows and architectural diagrams.
• Design and support end-to-end data ingestion from source systems through Silver and Reporting layers.
• Lead, guide, and mentor Data Modeling and Data Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned with business requirements.

About the Role

Theideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams, lead datamodeling initiatives, create architectural solutions, and mentor Data Modelingand Data Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Designscalable data models using Dimensional Modeling, Normalization, andMedallion Architecture.
• Map businessprocesses and create business process flows and architectural diagrams.
• Design andsupport end-to-end data ingestion from source systems through Silverand Reporting layers.
• Work with DatabricksWorkspace and clusters, including access and environment requirements.
• Develop dataengineering solutions using PySpark, ASQL, Databricks, and SQL.
• Perform dataanalysis, data profiling, and data quality assessments.
• Use datamodeling tools to design and maintain enterprise data models.
• Prepare keydata modeling deliverables including STTM, data models, analysisdocuments, and UAT test cases/results.
• Support datalineage and metadata management as part of data governance practices.
• Identifyopportunities to leverage AI-driven productivity tools in datamodeling and engineering activities.
• Lead, guide,and mentor Data Modeling and Data Engineering teams.
• Collaboratewith business and technical stakeholders to deliver data solutions alignedwith business requirements.

Requirements

Required Skills

• 10+ years ofexperience in Data Modeling .
