Job summary

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team seeks an Architect for our Bangalore or Gurgaon office. You will perform basic architectural/engineering calculations, prepare specifications and data tables, and liaise with design and drafting groups.

Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, you may handle advanced technical assignments within schedules and budgets, and coordinate activities with other disciplines. A Bachelor of Architecture and 2–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture is required.
• 2–5 years of architecture experience; Middle East/US/UK experience desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently at times.

Job Description

Here is what you will do:

• Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.

• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• A Bachelor of Architecture is required.
• Applicants are required to have between 2-5 years of experience in Architecture, Middle East/US/UK experience would be desirable but are not essential.
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
• Able to see the "bigger picture" and take a birds-eye view of projects.
