Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Quote Specialist in Hyderabad to create and manage quotes, review requests, and analyze customer requirements. You will work with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Pricing to resolve queries while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

The role requires strong Excel skills, CRM experience and a focus on data integrity, continuous improvement, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry or Environmental field preferred.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Salesforce, CRM platforms or similar business apps.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage quotes in line with pricing guidelines and SOPs.
• Review quote requests for completeness, accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze customer requirements to choose the best quoting approach.
• Ensure productivity, quality, turnaround time and SLAs are met.
• Own requests from intake through completion with stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Pricing to resolve queries.
• Identify gaps and risks; escalate proactively when needed.
• Use systems to support operations and maintain data integrity.
• Participate in process improvement and cross-training initiatives.

Responsibilities

Quote Execution & Quality

• Create and manage quotes in accordance with business requirements, pricing guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Review quote requests for completeness, accuracy and compliance before processing.
• Analyze customer requirements and available data to determine the most appropriate quoting approach.
• Ensure adherence to productivity, quality, turnaround time (TAT) and service-level expectations.

Ownership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Own assigned requests from intake through completion, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Pricing and other internal stakeholders to resolve quote-related queries and obtain required information.
• Identify process gaps, data discrepancies and potential risks, escalating proactively when required.

Systems, Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Use business systems and tools effectively to support operational requirements and maintain data integrity.
• Participate in process improvement, automation and standardization initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Support knowledge-sharing, cross-training and team collaboration to strengthen operational continuity.
• Adhere to company policies, compliance requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution; Bachelor’s / Master’s in Chemistry or an Environmental discipline preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce, CRM platforms or similar business applications preferred.
