Job summary

Oceaneering India Center in Maharashtra seeks a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering to prepare detailed 3D CAD data, drawings, P&IDs, schematics and layouts using SolidWorks for moderate to complex assignments.

You will plan work, estimate timelines, meet KPIs and comply with drafting standards, welding symbols and hydraulics conventions while supporting offshore energy projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with CAD software certification.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, tolerances, welding symbols, hydraulics and surface finish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, layouts, P&IDs and CAD data for moderate to complex assignments.
• Plan tasks and provide time estimates to meet KPIs.
• Execute assigned tasks within required KPIs and standards.
• Demonstrates initiative and adheres to company HR policies.

Get Trained and Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, layouts, general arrangements, P&IDs, and related CAD data for moderate to complex technical assignments under little supervision.

Essential

• Get Trained and Prepare 3d CAD data and detailed design/manufacturing/weldment/assembly/general arrangement drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics, layouts, general arrangements, and P&IDs.
• Execute the assigned tasks within the required KPIs.
• Able to plan his/her work and provide the time estimation for the assigned tasks
• Knowledge of Solidworks software tool in the area of application, viz. modeling, Routing assembly, drawing, weldment, etc.
• Basic knowledge of drafting and other standards governing tolerance, welding, surface finish, and hydraulics symbols.
• Undertake any other trainings/duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.
• Demonstrates high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned
• Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with Certification in CAD software
