Morningstar invites applicants for an Apprentice role in our Data and Operations group in Mumbai. The role is based in Mumbai with shift options, including night shifts, and is designed as a 6–12 month program to develop foundational data, research, and processing capabilities for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Only candidates graduating in 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance or related non-engineering disciplines) are eligible to apply.
• Candidates pursuing or holding professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CMA, CS, ACCA, FRM, or any similar equivalent course are not eligible.
• BE/B.Tech, Postgraduate, and Master’s degree holders are not eligible.
• Demonstrate strong English communication skills (written, verbal, and comprehension).
• Are proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Learn quickly and process information with ease.
• Possess attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and natural curiosity.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and perform well under tight deadlines.

You'll build your knowledge of investment management, grow your skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and benefit from structured training to support your growth, setting you up for long-term success.

This position will be based in our Mumbai office. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Mumbai. Candidates in this role may need to work in shifts, including night shifts.

• Shift 1: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Shift 2: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Shift 3: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Shift 4: 8:30 PM - 5:30 AM

Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week)
