Job summary

leading Big 4 organization seeks an Applied AI Platform Engineer – Performance Engineering to drive performance strategies for GenAI workloads. The role blends software and AI platform engineering across cloud-native stacks.

The position is Hyderabad/Bengaluru hybrid, with 3 days on-site and 2 days WFH. 6–13 years of experience, hands-on Python, and leadership responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

Strong experience in performance engineering for AI/GenAI platforms.
Hands-on Python development is mandatory.
Experience leading engineering teams and defining standards.
Experience building scalable AI/ML platforms and observability.

Responsibilities

Combine software and platform engineering with AI/GenAI infrastructure.
Build and support AI/ML platforms and services.
Lead performance engineering and testing across components.
Collaborate on model serving, retrieval, vector tech, and observability.
Work with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, Databricks, and distributed systems.
Implement Terraform, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and security practices.
Integrate OpenTelemetry and monitoring; support DevSecOps and SRE.
Contribute to AI control plane and agent runtime; MCP and A2A integration.
Apply policy-as-code and AI guardrails.

Responsibilities

Combine software and platform engineering with modern AI/ML infrastructure and GenAI capabilities
Build and support AI/ML platforms
Work on performance engineering and testing
