Oracle Bengaluru is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and enhance applications within an existing architecture. You will use SQL/PL‑SQL, Python/Java/C++, and debugging skills to deliver data‑driven features and reports.

You will gather requirements, estimate work, plan tasks, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery. You will also support releases and gain an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, IT or related field.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Python, Java, or C++ and debugging.
• Experience with Git and unit testing.

Job Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to the provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.

• Make enhancements to existing software applications.
• Develop and design new reports, including data fetching through SQL, data processing, and data representation based on requirements.
• Gather requirements, understand project scope, create work estimates, and effectively plan and execute tasks.
• Handle client calls and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in component-level technical design discussions and collaborations.
• Perform debugging and document root cause analysis and resolutions.
• Identify and suggest process improvements at the team level to support both operations and the development ecosystem.
• Provide support for software releases.
• Gain an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or above in one of the following:

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Shifts - 9 AM - 6 PM.
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
