Job summary

UBS in Pune, India seeks an Application Security Specialist to drive DevSecOps onboarding and adoption of security services across UBS applications portfolio.

You will support development teams with triage, analysis and remediation of identified vulnerabilities while enhancing security testing policies and practices. The role also involves governance, training creation, and enabling security across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Application Security Testing or IT security areas.
• Experience with onboarding, agile delivery and project planning.

Your team

Youll be working in the Cyber Hygiene organization in Pune, India. This is a global team, diverse and collaborative, that works across business divisions to keep our technology, applications and the businesses they support secure. As an Application Security Specialist, youll play an important role in the adoption of security scanning solutions as part of DevSecOps within in the UBS applications portfolio. Youll partner with development and engineering teams, CISO and Risk Managers to ensure applications are secure.

• bachelors degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related subject; alternatively an equivalent education or experience in one of these topics a proven track record of overall 5+ years of relevant experience in Application Security Testing, Information Technology, Application Development, or Information Security strong understanding and experience with project planning and execution, application on-boarding or service adoption, and agile delivery hands on experience with Application Security solutions (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST, API) and vulnerability analysis.
• Hands on experience with implementing security controls in the CI/CD pipeline strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with development and project teams, and senior stakeholders experience in working in international environments, preferably in financial industry.
