Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a CPQ Specialist to manage, develop, and support Configure One, Oracle Configurator, and future CPQ applications. You will coordinate releases, ensure high adoption, and align CPQ processes with Oracle Sales Cloud and ERP integrations.

The role requires 3+ years in CPQ environments, a relevant IT degree, and strong English communication. Collaboration with onshore/offshore teams and strict adherence to ITC compliance are essential.

Job description

Position Summary

The CPQ (Configure, Price & Quote) Specialist will be responsible for management, development, and support of the Quote to Order applications. This includes current applications such as Configure One and Oracle Configurator and any future applications supporting the Quote to Order processes. The CPQ specialist also contributes to the creation of a seamless environment that integrates Oracle Sales Cloud and ERP. In addition, the specialist will coordinate and lead the group’s communication of new releases to the extended users community, ensuring good customer satisfaction and high adoption rates.

Key Duties

• Perform hands‑on technical design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping and proof‑of‑concepts, and development tasks as required to support current and new projects.
• Act as a liaison between the technical team, functional team, business functions, and system integrators to drive configurator enhancements.
• Contribute to the creation of functional requirement documentation.
• Analyze production configuration issues and resolve any functional gaps in Configure One or Revalize.
• Generate and maintain documentation for changes made to Configure One or Revalize; assist in reviewing documentation created by team members to ensure it is understood, accurate, and follows current standards.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to estimate delivery timelines, resource needs, and identify risks and issues upfront.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, manage task assignments within the team, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Track assigned tasks, deliverables, risks, and issues and report to management as needed.
• Monitor and drive issue resolution.
• Participate in validation, testing, and release activities as needed.
• Ensure all activities, tasks, and responsibilities required by the role in terms of International Trade Compliance Regulation are managed in full compliance with the company ITC certification program.
• Communicate and distribute all system upgrades and support the users’ community with timely adoption and system uptake.

School Background / Working Seniority

• 3+ years of experience operating with CPQ software; experience with Revalize or Configure One is a plus.
• International experience is a plus.
• IT bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Basic Skills

• Good command of English.

Technical / Functional Skills

• Exposure to product configurator and Quote‑to‑Order applications such as Configure One or Revalize.
• Exposure to Oracle Sales Cloud and other CRM or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of system documentation and technical training writing.
• Process discipline and documentation skills are essential.
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 is an advantage.
