Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an Application Developer: Cloud FullStack to design, build, and deploy cloud-based applications both front-end and back-end, using microservices patterns and modern toolchains. You will work across Angular, React, Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases to deliver scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with senior practitioners to maintain cloud environments, ensure uptime, and apply automation for secure operations using APIGEE and API Connect.

Qualifications

• Cloud-based apps developed with microservices and data in NoSQL or RDBMS.
• Front-end and back-end layers include Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies for development, testing and deployment.
• Maintenance of cloud environments focusing on uptime, access and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Applications: develop cloud apps using microservices and data persistence.
• Apply DevOps Methodologies for efficient CI/CD and deployment.
• Collaborate on Cloud Environments with senior practitioners to ensure uptime and security.

You will utilize expertise in multiple layers of application development to deliver efficient and secure cloud‑based solutions.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Design and Develop Applications: Develop and deploy cloud‑based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front‑end, back‑end, and middleware components, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Apply DevOps Methodologies: Utilize DevOps methodologies and tools to ensure efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud‑based applications.
• Collaborate on Cloud Environments: Work with senior level practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
• Integrate Multiple Technologies: Integrate multiple technologies, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases, to deliver comprehensive cloud‑based solutions.
