Job summary

SWITS DIGITAL Private Limited in Kochi hunts an experienced Java Full Stack Developer. You will build scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern UI tech, design REST APIs, and own microservice components in Agile teams.

You will collaborate across disciplines, implement CI/CD pipelines, conduct code reviews, and ensure performance and security standards. 7+ years of hands-on experience required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with at least one UI technology or framework (Angular/React/JS/HTML5/CSS3).
• Strong knowledge of DBs and SQL.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and software release practices.
• Experience working with Jira.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern UI technologies and frameworks.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design, develop, and optimize relational database queries, SQL scripts, and data models.
• Implement application integrations and ensure reliable communication between services.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Track development activities, defects, and tasks using Jira.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow established DevOps practices.
