Job summary

NEMBHARAT is hiring an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain our digital products—from driver and passenger apps to enterprise dashboards and APIs that power our ecosystem.

The role requires creating clean, scalable code, collaborating with UI/UX designers, and integrating services to deliver robust mobility solutions for India and beyond.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern mobile or web framework.
• Experience with REST APIs and databases.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile apps using modern frameworks.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.

About The Role

NEMBHARAT is building the next generation of mobility technology for India and beyond. We are looking for a talented Application Developer to design, build, and maintain our digital products - from driver and passenger apps to enterprise dashboards and APIs that power our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using modern frameworks
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and mapping services
• Conduct code reviews and ensure engineering best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues efficiently
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and agile ceremonies
• Contribute to architectural and technical decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2-6 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one of: React Native, Flutter (mobile) or React/Vue/Angular (web)
• Strong knowledge of PHP/Laravel, Node.js, or Python for backend development
• Experience with REST APIs, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and cloud services
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
• Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time applications (WebSockets, Firebase)
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure
• Prior experience in mobility, logistics, or SaaS products
