Job summary

EY India is seeking a SAP BTP Fullstack Developer to drive end-to-end design and delivery of cloud-native applications. You will work with SAP BTP, CAPM, and microservices to build and integrate scalable solutions for complex business challenges.

Role involves guiding teams, translating requirements into designs, and ensuring best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery within the EY technology platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field; strong academic record.
• 5+ years in core design and development; 2-3 years cloud tech experience.
• Experience with cloud app development using BAS and CAPM.
• Good knowledge of BTP, HANA Cloud Integration and Cloud Foundry.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, HR.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of solution or infra development for small to medium projects.
• Design and maintain SAP-based solutions, ensure standards compliance.
• Translate user requirements into design specs; review technical details.

Title: Application Design and Development-SAP BTP Fullstack Developer

The opportunity

The selected candidate will:

• Leads the delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for a small to medium sized project, using strong technical capabilities
• Designs, develops and oversees the maintenance of solutions or infrastructure deliverables, driving team compliance with the relevant standards
• Fully understands user requirements and translates requirements into design specifications, reviewing the work of others for technical details

Your key responsibilities

Work on POC’s to take appropriate design decisions.

Guide team development efforts towards successful product delivery.

• BTP, Cloud Foundry, SAP Gateway, CAP (Cloud Application Programming)
• Good business communication skills
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on SAP technologies
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans

Skills and attributes for success

• Deep understanding of BTP architecture and BTP services
• Experienced in leading the teams and capable of driving initiatives
• Experience of building applications in SAP BTP Platform (BTP-Cloud Application Programming CAPM)
• Java/NodeJS development experience, working on building cloud native applications and building integrations with on-premises systems
• Good understanding for cloud Identity and Access Management with open standards like SAML, SCIM OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Tools experience in SAP BAS and SAP BTP Cockpit
• Strong experience with SAPUI5 and/or HTML5 or other Front-end Web Application development frameworks like Business application studio/React
• Experience on Github, CI/CD best practices as part of DevOps
• Practice of modern software engineering including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and releasing
• Familiarized with usage of agile methods like test-driven development, continuous integration & delivery
• Conceptual analytical thinking and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines; effective communication with senior management, clients, peers, and team members

To qualify for the role

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in Core design and Development (2-3 years’ experience in cloud technologies)
• Experience in Cloud application development using BAS and CAPM
• Good knowledge and experience on BTP and HANA Cloud Integration
• Good knowledge and experience on Cloud Foundry
• Good Knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, HR, etc
• Experience in developing automations with SAP Build Process Automation, Python or Java
• Experience in developing applications with microservices architecture
• Experience with SAP APIs and BAPIs for process integration and automation
• Understanding of business processes and how automation can optimize them (e.g., Procure-to-Pay)
• Ability to debug automation scripts and resolve SAP-related issues
• Knowledge and PoC experience in SAP Joule and Gen AI Hub
• Likely you’ll also have Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes
• Knowledge of integrating AI and ML to enhance automation
• Experience working across departments for process redesign
• Familiarity with RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere integrated with SAP
