Responsibilities

• Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, tables, indexes, functions, views and triggers for ETL.
• Design and develop SSIS/SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from multiple upstream systems.
• Resolve and monitor performance issues in SSIS packages and SQL.
• Read execution plans to identify changes and optimize queries.
• Build data transformations with SSIS, including file imports and cross-platform data moves.
• Provide production support for SSIS/ETL processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure code quality of SQL and SSIS via reviews and best practices.
• Optimize performance and security of SQL and SSIS, debug issues.
• Lead a team of developers with mentorship and guidance.
• Foster collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
• Beneficial certifications: MCSA, MCSD, or Azure Data Engineer.

• Provide production support for existing SSIS/ ETL processes and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure code quality of SQL and SSIS through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize performance and security of SQL and packages, debug and resolve technical issues in the SSIS.
• Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) or Azure Data Engineer Associate etc can be beneficial.
