Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking an API Testing and Automation specialist to join our Quality Engineering team. You will run end-to-end API tests, design automation frameworks and work closely with developers to improve REST/SOAP API quality.

The role requires hands-on with Rest Assured and Java, experience with Postman, Maven or Gradle, and familiarity with OAuth/JWT-based auth. You will collaborate in an Agile environment across SDLC/STLC.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in API testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured and Java.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and HTTP.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Familiar with Postman, SoapUI and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Understanding of OAuth, JWT, API Keys and Basic Authentication.
• Proficient with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Experience with JIRA or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.
