Overview

Automation Specialist role focused on QA testing for networking and NaaS services, including API testing, performance validation, and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Postman, and Jenkins.
• Design and execute test plans for TMF APIs (e.g., TMF 638 – Service Inventory, TMF 641 – Service Order).
• Test REST/SOAP APIs using JMeter, Postman, and other standard tools; validate API integration between multiple IT systems.
• Validate integration and performance testing between NaaS components, including NaaP, SD-WAN controllers, SASE, tactical portals, and self-service portals.
• Conduct testing in Linux and Windows environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive resolution.
• Document test strategies, plans, and reports for stakeholder review.
• Assess API performance and identify bottlenecks in end-to-end workflows.
• Produce detailed, clear reports and infographics to showcase trends, test results, and outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of NaaS architecture, including orchestration layers and customer onboarding flows.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Meraki, Fortinet), including provisioning and policy validation.
• Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Cypress) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC, SD-WAN, HA Failover).
• Experience with Linux and Windows system testing.
• Ability to lead and mentor QA teams, drive testing strategy, and manage test cycles.
• Hands-on performance testing and design validation testing experience.

Qualifications

• ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with TMF, REST/SOAP API testing.
• Strong understanding of NaaS architecture, orchestration layers, and customer onboarding flows.
• Experience with SPoG, NaaP, and DigiCOM platforms.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtual CPEs.
