Program & Operations Associate, Family Engagement

Location: India
Business: UHNW, Family Engagement

About Family Engagement

Bernstein’s Family Engagement team helps ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families navigate the complex human, relational, and practical dimensions of significant wealth. The team develops programs, research, resources, and experiences that support families as they communicate across generations, prepare rising leaders, define shared goals, and make thoughtful decisions about wealth, legacy, governance, and family continuity.

Working closely with advisors and internal partners, Family Engagement provides differentiated support for Bernstein’s most complex client relationships through education, facilitation, thought leadership, peer engagement, and customized family-focused programming. The team plays an important role in helping advisors deepen relationships with clients and deliver a more holistic experience beyond investment management.

Position Overview

The Family Engagement team is seeking an India-based Program & Operations Associate to provide high-quality execution, coordination, reporting, and process support across a growing set of Family Engagement initiatives. This role will initially focus on core program administration, team operating leverage, reporting, content workflow support, survey administration, and platform maintenance. Over time, as the individual builds context and credibility with the team, the role may expand into broader strategic, analytical, research, and AI-enabled support.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting senior stakeholders in a global, follow-the-sun working model. This person should be able to operate, with direction, minimal day-to‑day oversight, identify opportunities for process improvement, and bring a high standard of professionalism to work that supports advisors, clients, and internal teams serving ultra‑high‑net‑worth families.

Key Responsibilities
Program and Operations Support
  • Support recurring Family Engagement programs, including Leadership Accelerator, peer‑to‑peer initiatives, surveys, family meeting preparation, participant communications, and post‑session follow‑up.
  • Coordinate pre‑and post‑session materials, distribution lists, reminder emails, recap communications, recordings, survey links, and related trackers.
  • Assist with team operating needs, including resource requests, scheduling support, expense tracking, T&E coordination, quarterly business reporting, and recurring internal updates.
  • Maintain team trackers, templates, calendars, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure information is current, accurate, and easy to access.
Reporting, Metrics, and Business Insights
  • Prepare recurring reports and summaries related to program activity, participation, ROI metrics, LAB activity, peer‑to‑peer engagement, and other key business indicators.
  • Support the maintenance and interpretation of dashboards, trackers, and other reporting tools.
  • Help the team improve how program activity, deliverables, outcomes, and follow‑up items are captured, organized, and communicated.
  • Identify trends, gaps, or recurring needs that can help the team better prioritize work and improve service delivery.
Content, Research, and Workflow Coordination
  • Support quote‑check processes for blogs, research, and thought leadership, including pulling quotes, updating trackers, preparing outreach, monitoring responses, and escalating edits or approvals.
  • Assist with survey administration for research, LAB, peer‑to‑peer sessions, and family meetings.
  • Maintain and refresh Family Engagement content on Seismic, including newly published research, blogs, key dates, program materials, and related collateral.
  • Refresh existing materials, with direction, to ensure visuals, data, session content, and supporting resources remain current.
  • Support first‑pass research, competitive scans, social media drafts, event summaries, and internal communications as the role evolves.
Process Improvement and AI‑Enabled Efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency through templates, workflow enhancements, better use of existing platforms, and approved AI tools.
  • Stay current with approved internal AI tools and suggest practical ways the team can use them to streamline administrative, reporting, research, and communication workflows.
  • Help standardize repeatable processes so senior team members can focus more time on advisor/client engagement and higher‑value strategic work.
  • Support the future administration of tools, platforms, or processes adopted by the Family Engagement team as the business scales.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, business operations, research support, marketing operations, client service support, or a related function.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workflows, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, polished emails, summaries, and internal updates.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Seismic, SurveyMonkey, Power BI, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based stakeholders, senior professionals, or global teams preferred.
  • Interest in wealth management, UHNW client engagement, family office, leadership development, research, or related areas preferred.
What Will Make Someone Successful in This Role

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly for advisor-facing, client-facing, or senior leader-facing materials.
  • Sound judgment, including knowing when to act independently and when to elevate.
  • Proactive problem‑solving orientation, with an interest in improving repeatable processes and team workflows.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a growing business where priorities may evolve over time.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and an appreciation for the needs of ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients and the advisors who serve them.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, including approved AI‑enabled resources, to create efficiency and leverage for the team.
