Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor the functioning of anaesthesia equipment and report malfunctions.
• Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technologist to join our Operation Theatre team. The candidate will assist anaesthesiologists in providing safe and efficient anaesthesia care by preparing equipment, supporting anaesthesia procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and check Anaesthesia machines, monitors, and airway equipment before surgical procedures.
• Assist the anaesthesiologist during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anaesthesia.
• Ensure the availability of anesthesia drugs, consumables, and emergency equipment.
• Monitor the functioning of anesthesia equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure patient safety standards are followed.
• Assist with airway management and invasive monitoring as directed by the anesthesiologist.
• Maintain records of anesthesia equipment, consumables, and inventory.
• Coordinate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and OT staff for smooth surgical workflow.
• Participate in emergency procedures and code blue situations when required.
