As an Android Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Android developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. You will play a key role in driving the technical direction of our Android projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Android developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Define technical architecture, design patterns, and development standards for Android applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
• Drive the development lifecycle, from planning and estimation to implementation, testing, and deployment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency across projects
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Android development and advocate for their adoption as appropriate
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development team
• Mentor and coach team members, providing support, guidance, and opportunities for growth and development
• Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of professional experience in Android application development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Expertise in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
• Strong understanding of Android application development frameworks, architecture patterns, and best practices
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and related tools
• Proven track record of leading successful software development projects, from concept to delivery
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
