Job summary

HSBC Software Development India invites an experienced Associate Director, Software Engineering to lead mobile security for Android and iOS. You will analyse malware, extract IOCs, explain risks to technical and business stakeholders, and guide on protections.

You will monitor threat intelligence, mentor teams on secure development, and coordinate with vendors and platform teams. Strong programming and DevOps experience are essential; security certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mobile malware analysis and reverse engineering (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of iOS/Android security architectures and threat landscape.
• Ability to set up analysis environments and recreate attack scenarios.
• Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C or Java.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with DevOps/Agile and collaboration tools.
• Security certifications such as OSCP/GIAC are desirable.
• Degree in a relevant field is desirable.
