Job summary

Alten in Bengaluru seeks an embedded software engineer with strong Android architecture background. The role requires experience in C++ and/or Java, with emphasis on redesigning and refactoring Java and C++ components, and a solid grasp of design patterns and OOP.

Candidates should have hands-on debugging skills for complex systems and at least 2 years in automotive domains, along with familiarity with SW development environments and processes.

• Automotive experience minimum 2 years.

Job description

• Solid understanding of Android architecture, Binder IPC communication, HAL or similar communication framework.
• Embedded SW architecture background is required.
• Knowledge on SW development environment and process
• Experience in development in C++ or Java is mandatory (Both is a Plus).
• Experience in designing, re factoring Java and C++ components.
• Good understanding of Design Patterns and OOP concepts.
• Experience in debugging complex systems
• Mandatory Automotive experience of minimum 2 Years
• Knowledge on Media, Audio software stack is a plus.
• Knowledge on Google Test suite (GTest), Junit is a plus.
• Knowledge of test framework integration. (Roboelectric, Mockito)
• Experience in GitLab, Scripting (Shell, Python), Service Oriented Architecture, Docker is a plus.
