Job summary

NTT DATA Business Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking a mid-level Android Developer Consultant to design, develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and legacy Java, aligning with modern architecture patterns.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features, ensure performance and UX, and participate in CI/CD and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional Android development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java with the Android SDK, Jetpack libraries and Material Design guidelines.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM/KMP) is a plus.
• Familiar with MVVM and Clean Architecture; asynchronous programming using Coroutines.
• Comfortable with Git, PR workflows and code reviews.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON serialization (Kotlinx, Moshi, Gson) and networking stacks like Retrofit/OkHttp.
• Strong unit, UI and instrumentation testing mindset; CI/CD tooling.
