Job summary

Ontime Global is seeking an experienced Android developer for Pune to design, build, and maintain high-performance native apps. You will create responsive UI components using React JS, integrate with RESTful services, and ensure BLE and Wi‑Fi mirroring features operate reliably across devices.

You will collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams, participate in code reviews, and assist in releases and troubleshooting production issues. Immediate notice period.

Qualifications

• Experience in native Android development and modern UI tooling.
• Proficiency with React JS for mobile interfaces and components.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance native Android apps.

• Implement API communication, data handling, authentication and error handling.
• Implement and troubleshoot BLE connectivity with external devices.

• Diagnose and resolve application, connectivity, and device issues.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Ensure compatibility across Android devices and versions.

The ideal candidate should have experience in native Android development, React JS, RESTful APIs/Web Services, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Wi-Fi Mirroring/Casting. Experience with mapping and location-based features will be an added advantage.

• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Ensure compatibility and consistent application performance across different Android devices and versions.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, product, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.
