About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Junior Android Developer with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in building Android applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using modern development practices
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
• Debug and resolve application issues and improve performance
• Implement and manage local storage solutions for offline capabilities
• Work extensively with core Android Framework components (Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Android development
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
• Solid understanding of the Android Framework and application lifecycle
• Experience with local storage options such as SQLite, Room, or SharedPreferences
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of MVVM/MVC architecture patterns
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Experience with third‑party libraries and APIs
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.)
• Knowledge of Firebase services
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in publishing apps on the Google Play Store
