Job Description

This is a full-time remote position from 2 PM – 11 PM IST every day. The timing is set to align with our U.S.-based management. We are looking for a junior Android developer who has strong technical skills from university and at least one year of Android development experience. You should be hungry to learn and to build state-of-the-art products for the transportation industry. You will join our existing mobile team of six.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously and take complete ownership of assigned tasks
• Develop complex Android applications, including building from scratch
• Connect Android apps with APIs and collaborate with back-end developers to design and implement APIs for each screen
• Work with design documentation and other developers to bring customer projects into production
• Test and debug to ensure product quality and reliability
• Scale and maintain applications as part of a team

Qualifications

• 1-6 years of experience with products published to the Google Play Store
• Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Ability to work with remote developers to define, design, and ship new features
• Proven track record supporting or working on complex features and applications
• Experience with version control (Git)
