Job summary

Ytcventures in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to design and implement mobile features using Java and Kotlin. You will work with Jetpack, RxJava, Coroutines, and modern architecture patterns.

You should be comfortable with DI (Dagger), unit testing, and agile methods (Scrum/Kanban). Strong communication and teamwork are essential for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Android development experience.
• Strong Java and Kotlin command.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components, RxJava, Coroutines, Flow, and Retrofit.
• Familiarity with DI frameworks like Dagger.
• Knowledge of MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, and Gerrit.
• Adherence to SOLID principles and CS fundamentals.
• Strong OO design and good communication skills.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP).

Requirements & qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech with 4- 6 years of experience working on Android
• Strong command on Android - Java and Kotlin.
• Good Knowledge of android and language essentials like Android Jetpack components, Rxjava, Coroutines, Flows, ktx, Retrofit
• Familiarity and experience with Dependency injection and related frameworks like Dagger
• Architectural knowledge of MVP, MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Exposure to Unit testing frameworks, mock frameworks and libraries like Junit, Mockito, Power Mockito and Mockk.io
• Experience of working with version control, issue and project tracking and other productivity enhancement software like Git, Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Gerrit .
• Understands and follows SOLID principles
• Strong penchant for Object Oriented Design and CS fundamentals
• Prior experience in working in Agile software methodologies
• Need to be a good team player and have good communication skills
• Experience of agile methods, such as SCRUM, KANBAN & XP
